Only the thought that made the problem give way
An entrance examination is not a field of study. Finding what an examiner has hidden is closer to spotting the odd detail in a picture than to proving a theorem, and what finds it is intuition rather than elaborate reasoning. So the questions and the solutions are stripped of everything that is not the thought that made the problem give way.
수능은 학문이 아닙니다. 평가원이 숨겨 둔 것을 찾는 일은 증명보다 틀린 그림 찾기에 가깝고, 그것을 찾게 하는 것은 고차원적인 사고가 아니라 직관과 감각입니다. 그래서 문항에서도 해설에서도 잡다한 것을 덜어냅니다.
